Heroes follow the same upgrade system as other survivors. However, instead of Class Tokens the Heroes are upgraded and promoted with Hero Tokens. You need Hero specific tokens to upgrade their traits and rarity.

Once you have fully upgraded all traits of the Hero, you will have the opportunity to promote them to the next rarity level.
