Make sure every survivor in your group has access to the right equipment. Gear up your survivors with different weapons to fend off walkers but also with armor for that extra protection.

To change the equipment on a survivor, open the survivors' menu and tap on the portrait of the hero or survivor. Tap on the weapon or armor slot and make your choice from the selection. Your survivor will now use this equipment in the following missions until you decide to change their load-out again.

The type of weapon or armor you can outfit your survivor with depends on their class.
