Your survivors won’t go to the Hospital if they get injured or fall out of action in a Distance mission. You can still use the very same survivor in other mission modes and survivors in the Hospital can still be used in The Distance.
If your survivor flees or dies, they will be marked as “Out of Action”. These survivors can’t be used in The Distance anymore, unless you completely restart the mode.
After each mission you complete, you can heal 10% of your survivors’ health once by using gold. This applies to all the survivors, even the ones not in your current team of three. Survivors who are “Out of Action” do not benefit from this healing.
If your survivor’s health has dropped to red, healing in this way can raise it back to green again.
